The NORDRIVE KARGO Roof Rack Series offers you the basis for the transport of large and bulky objects such as ladders, pipes, boards, etc ... The stable and profiled carrier bars also enable the transport of heavy loads. The massive support bars withstand high loads and bending is almost impossible.
The roof rack system is screwed to the factory mounting points on the roof. With the purchase of a NORDRIVE Roof Rack System you are choosing quality, function and reliability at an unbeatable price. The system is available for a wide range of vehicle types. Furthermore, the system can be expanded in many ways thanks to the extensive range of accessories.
The NORDRIVE KARGO RACK System is TÜV / GS tested and approved.
The NORDRIVE KARGO RACK Roof Basket is a modular support system made of aluminum. The high-quality and anodized aluminum ensures a long service life.
The system consists of the following components:
Side panels:
The height of the side panels is 7 cm or 12 cm. The side panels have a length of 120 cm to 210 cm. In the case of variants over 210 cm length, 2 side parts are connected to one another so that lengths from 240 cm to 420 cm can be created.
Cross bars:
The cross bars for this system are available in lengths of 115 cm, 135 cm, 150 cm and 180 cm. Depending on the overall length, between 8 and 16 cross bars are supplied. The cross bars are individually adjustable and can be moved to the desired position. Various accessories can optionally be fitted to the ends of the roof basket.
Mounting kit:
Depending on the version, the mounting kit consists of 4 to 8 carriers and is lockable. The stable carriers are made of solid plastic and have been specially designed for each type of Vehicle.
The following accessories are available for the NORDRIVE KARGO RACK System:
Upper cross bars* (Front/Back):
These secure the load against unintentional sliding over the carrier. These are available in lengths of 115 cm (N10211), 135 cm (N10212), 150 cm (N10213) and 180 cm (N10214).
(* When installing the rear upper crossbar, a ladder roller cannot be installed)
Ladder roller:
The ladder roller makes it easier to load ladders, pipes and long objects. This is mounted on the last cross bar. The ladder roller is available in lengths of 115 cm (N10231), 135 cm (N10232), 150 cm (N10233) or 180 cm (N10234).
Ladder adapter:
With the ladder adapter (N11067) ladders can be securely attached to the bars.
Ladder stopper belt:
The ladder stopper belt (N11065) ensure that the ladder is securely and quickly attached to the bars.
Side stops (11 cm height):
The low side stops (N11001) can be used to secure the load against slipping sideways. They are quickly and securely attached by clamping to the cross bars. A quick assembly / disassembly and adjustment is given by the Tool-Free T-Nut. Optionally, the T-Nut can be replaced with the enclosed hexagon nut (incl. Open-Ended wrench) for anti-theft installation. Lashing straps or other ladder clamping systems can be used to secure the load.
Side stops (23 cm height):
The high side stops (N11002) can be used to secure the load against slipping sideways. They are quickly and securely attached by clamping to the cross bars. A quick assembly / disassembly and adjustment is given by the Tool-Free T-Nut. Optionally, the T-Nut can be replaced with the enclosed hexagon nut (incl. Open-Ended wrench) for anti-theft installation. Lashing straps or other ladder clamping systems can be used to secure the load.
Tube:
The KARGO Tube enables loose material such as pipes, cables, rods, etc ... to be transported safely and protected from theft. The KARGO Tube is loaded from the rear. Thanks to a special mechanism, shorter items can also be retrieved and removed. The KARGO Tube is available in lengths of 205 cm (N11050), 305 cm (N11051) and 405 cm (N11052).
Wind deflector:
The wind deflector reduces possible wind noise and can also be used as an advertising sign. Available in 95 cm (N11053) or 110 cm (N11054) length.
Ring eye-bolts:
With the optional ring eye-bolts (N11033) you have the option of attaching your tension belts with hooks on the inside of the side panels. You can move and position the ring eye-bolts freely on the inside of the side panels. This enables the load to be fixed easily and flexibly.
Stabilizer:
With the optional stabilizers (N99970) you have the possibility to additionally secure the roof Basket against sagging. This can e.g. be at the ends of the rack.
